Inspired by the ebb and flow of the river and tide, the Edge promenade is thoughtfully designed to bring people into contact with the waterfront in a variety of fascinating ways. This new park ingeniously integrates the Edge with the east river through a multi-tiered network of piers, walkways, bike paths and observation decks. Built in two phases, highlights include a public promenade, a terraced wildflower field and a beautiful grass pier that steps down to the water. The Edge promenade will also get its very own water taxi stop for the five-minute crossings to midtown and downtown Manhattan.
